Duranie at Madison Square Garden in DIY Jacket She was very nice to let me snap this photo |
I've read all your emails saying that you're craving a quirky Duranesque post. Well I think you'll find it to be quirky indeed. I am working on two blog posts right now that are not exactly ready for your consumption. Id like to wish the guyliner contingent ( Duran Duran) a wonderful second leg of the All You Need Is Now Tour. I thought I'd round up a couple tidbits of fashion fun for you. I've struggled with concert fashion a tad in the past as you all know.
Nick Rhodes debuted the Hat Mask at Coachella. (Hat Mask was debuted in San Francisco Originally) Will it make a comeback in Dubai ? |
I learned at my last show just to have fun. I'm not wearing 5inch heels this women likes to dance. My dance moves cant be done in heels ( I really am happy its very dark at the venues) Seriously I found myself hobbling around a casino in vain. Smiling and getting your groove on is the most stylish. One thing I do enjoy seeing are the fans very own DIY fashion creations such as the ones pictured above. Even the band themselves pull out some fashion surprises for us. Here is my revised version of concert going onsom. Everyone have fun going to your respective concerts on this leg of the tour. Remember to post lots of pictures for us to enjoy.
Phone- So you can tweet #duranlive during the show
Sharpie - Just in case you get that autograph
Camera- So you can take pictures of Nick Rhodes taking pictures of you.
Juicy Couture Perfume- We love John Taylor his wife makes this stank
Pink Bra- Consider it a little piece of girl panic. Id toss it up on stage.
Purse - A little one you can wrap around you.
Makeup- Get your glam on ladies
I wish I had some of my oldold D2 fashions. Not that I can fit into them anymore except perhaps my grandfathers felt fedora which is long gone.

ReplyDeleteYou are a talented artist with a passion for the craft. I want to show folks that if you don't succeed try try again. Maybe I made my mistakes to show others how not too.You don't give up either. People told me that I was too ugly to beauty blog. That the Duran Duran aspects of the blog would hurt it. When people tell you your wrong it means your doing it right! Keep up your drive lady xo
The DYI fashion creations are awesome.
ReplyDeleteI love everything you picked out but I now want that leopard/cheetah? print scarf and the D&G bag :c
