Philip Treacy Man of Many Hats

Nothing says spring like a funky hat . For centuries women have been expressing themselves with hats. Feathers , sequins and gems oh my ! In our time there is a master of the hat. Wonder what he thought of Nick Rhodes Hat Mask at cochlea ? Irish born Milliner Philip Treacy is one of the most sought after for his creative Artistry.It is indeed artistry for his work has been included in many art installations world wide.Yasmin Lebon , Lady GaGa , Naomi Campbell , Kate Moss, Kate Middleton  are just a few of his celebrity fans. Alias in pop trash beauties world it will be pink redsox hats and plastic flowers this spring.

    (strange isn't it that we adore the late Isabella Blow for her mad hats and the comments on Princess Beatrice have been less than kind .. but then we "hate" tattoos on people unless they're on Angelina Jolie.

    I think that the appreciation of irony is losing speed along with humor.

  4. It's such a British 'thing' and seems so strange for these uptight types to come out full force in such outlandish and creative hats (of ALL cultures). Art! Yes, write more on Blow, (why do we only appreciate people when they are dead???).
