Mirror, Mirror: Body Dysmorphic Disorder - Part 1

This broke my heart . I think all of us deal with this on some level not as drastic. To watch the battle these young adults have is really heart breaking . They don't know what causes BDD .

What do you think of BDD ? Is it more wide spread than reported ?  Do you ever feel like this on some level.  I wanted to share this with you it really touched me.

  1. I'm glad you put this up. It's really hard to watch, or talk about. Hostages to this seems to be the word and all that aloneness with this.

I've been struggling with a blog I want to do on Dangerous Beauty which is probably an offshoot.

    Thank you.

  2. Fascinating and sad. I wonder what does trigger it. I have seen something like this in a friend of mine's daughter. She is a beautiful bi-racial girl who thinks she is horrendously ugly because she's not black or white. Breaks my heart.
