How : As a Child Tranter was inspired by the Disney Movie The Little Mermaid 's Ariel , Also the outrageous Courtney Love /Hole. He attended the Berkley School of music in Boston. After Graduating he set his sights on New York City. Where he went to the task of forming a band. His first band were the house band for a off Broadway show called Rock star NYC. The show only ran three weeks . He soon went to work putting out albums and creating a buzz. When he decided to form Semi Precious Weapons. With the help his college roommate Bassist Cole Whittle . They brought music heavy weights in forming there own record label Precious. After there first album dropped they got offers from big label's . Decided to go with the label Razor and Tie . This would allow them more creative freedom.
