Swell Ladies Who Rock Out The Curves .

I decided to Mad Men Myself for this post

I read this post on CoCo Perez( Perez Hilton's fashion page). Which from aside of street style , I also have a boarder line obsession with. He reported on Christine Hendricks who plays Joan a curvy sassy secretary on the mega hit Mad Men. How she had trouble finding designers who would work with her. Due in part to her curvy figure .Now since the shows many awards almost cult like following. Hendricks is finding that designers are now changing there tune. Here is an excerpt of her recent LA Times Magazine Interview. The interviewer asks about her red carpet looks. I really like what she has too say .Click the pink link at the end of the quote to read the full article.

"But there is such a business these days based on being critical. It’s always been there, but now there are entire magazines devoted to shredding people—who wore the worst dress, who had the worst cellulite. It just, you know, hurts your soul. At the end of the day, you’re just going to a big party. You have to remind yourself to wear the things you love. Sometimes your friends or a stylist will go, “Yeah...no.” Sometimes you can’t see yourself with objectivity, but you have to go with what you think is pretty. You’re borrowing these dresses to wear to events, and sometimes they don’t feel like you—like something I would ever wear." ( LA TIMES Magazine )

So who are your favorite curvy women. I picked five of mine . Though the list indeed could have been longer by far . I promise you when comprising this list . We totally were grading on a curve. So tell us who is your favorite curvy lady ?

"Cultivate your curves - they may be dangerous but they won't be avoided ".

Mae West

"The body is meant to be seen, not all covered up. "

Marilyn Monroe

"People often say that 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder,' and I say that the most liberating thing about beauty is realizing that you are the beholder. This empowers us to find beauty in places where others have not dared to look, including inside ourselves. "

Salma Hayek

"It was a very vulnerable time going from being insecure about my body and who I am to becoming comfortable with me. I had to tune out what the hell everybody else had to say about who I was.
When I was able to do that, I felt free."

Queen Latifah

"I am so beautiful, sometimes people weep when they see me. And it has nothing to do with what I look like really, it is just that I gave myself the power to say that I am beautiful, and if I could do that, maybe there is hope for them too. And the great divide between the beautiful and the ugly will cease to be. Because we are all what we choose."
