3 AM Albert Einstein is keeping me awake

Im laying in bed tossing and turning. I put the kettle on to make some decaf herbal tea. I contemplate a scoop of strawberry ice cream though it passes. Albert Einstien has me awake at time in my life. My mind is so heavy with everything. I have 2 months to make a whole lot of amazing happen. I look at the quote below and wonder when someone will say yes. I've been working so hard to make it all happen. Though in the past week I've encountered insomnia. Sometimes I get up and sketch old film stars in my sketch book. Working on plans for my next purse art project. Simply I put on a playlist on my ipod do the dishes. Its surprising that I always have a sinkful to do .  I try to stay off social media for I'll end up getting into deep conversations with some people who are up too. Deep thoughts happen at 3am in a way that I can't explain. You feel the darkness all around you in my part of the world everything is quiet. Things that just seem to enter your mind in your daytime activities really take root at this time of the morning. I decided to write a random post about deep thoughts . Though not to worry the next 3 posts are summer beauty orientated. Well I've finished my tea though no sympathy needed the amazing will happen. As I keep progressing forward wondering when and how. Then maybe we aren't supposed to know the when and how. Just got to keep working hard laying down the path to self sustainability .

 really am enjoying the classes I've been taking from Dress for Success. I also have this empowerment that I haven't had in a long time. On Wednesday I will be attending a media networking breakfast in Boston. I am taking the leap and doing something outside my comfort zone will post about it here.Today I graduated from my class the next chapter is unfolding it seems to be shaping up to be a good one.

Super Moon Sunday

I am let's just say over the moon excited about the Super Moon on Sunday ( pun intended ) . I have been looking forward to this so here are some facts about the big event. Miss Manners on the City Bus

I got a little bit of a stomach bug that has me up at almost one in the morning. So I thought Id write a blog post. I had to go to an appointment today sleep deprived and not feeling so well. So the world to me seemed pretty loud and just too much. I wanted my bed and some nice long documentary to see me through. Well on the bus on the way home from what felt like a very long day. I sat next to an elderly women dressed in a bright yellow suit . She seemed elegant and almost from another time. It was nice she was quiet and I was too we seemed to mutually understand that we wanted a relaxing trip to our destination. Which if your familiar with public transit isn't always indeed the case. I was reading emails on my phone when a gentleman and his wife were talking very loudly. He was using the F bomb as a adjective. Yes this is New England but I think it was more his negativity that was annoying most of us.  I was so tired that his voice and negativity just pierced through me like a knife. The women beside me who had been silent turned to him and said . " There are a bunch of women around you, you keep using cuss words could I kindly ask you to stop"   The man responded with vibrato " This is america and I have freedom of speech , and my mother raised me to take no sh*t from anyone"  I was thinking didn't she teach you to respect your elders and manners.

 Not that I'm perfect I have used the f bomb freely. I know as an american he had a right to say it as much as he wanted. Yet isn't there a common regard for manors. She continued to plead her case she did it in this 1940's way of speaking . I knew she'd get nowhere for it was his sheer ignorance that she was up against. The experience stuck with me how could anyone be that cruel to an old women. She had asked nicely even some of the shadiest characters on the bus would have apologized and watched it. Even though we are in an age of technology. Do you think manors are a dying art form ?  What would you have done if an older lady had asked you to watch your language ?  I still think that please and thank you are indeed magic words. What do you think of manners in our modern society ?

My Quick Lazy Morning Routine

I have never been a morning person since starting my new internship at Dress for Success. I've had to get the morning ritual back into the swing of things. I have to tell you CC cream is a sleepyheads dream come true. I get out of the shower cleanse pat my face dry. I apply very little CC cream and it does the trick. I go have a cup of coffee . I comeback and apply some mascara , eye-shadow, sweep my lids with a little eye shadow and plum eyeliner. I look ready to go I wait till after my second cup of coffee and teeth brush to apply lippy.  

What is CC cream ? 

CC cream, also known as Color Control cream, or color correcting cream, is a refined blemish balm cream or Beauty Balm created and developed in Korea.^[BB (Blemish Balm) cream was originally formulated in Germany and has in recent years gained popularity in Asia, and is also gaining popularity Europe and North America.^[CC cream is widely used in Asia to provide natural-looking skin coverage. While BB cream was manufactured primarily as a skincare product, CC cream was developed to retain all the skincare benefits of BB cream with added nourishing ingredients and the additional aim to provide more effective skin coverage. The CC cream is making a big difference in my complexion evening out red patches on my cheeks and hyper pigmentation on my forehead. I use the Almay brand which I love and is 12.00 USD. A little goes a long way I just use a dime size dab will do it for my whole face. Its been a long time till I've been impressed with a new beauty product.

Want a peek into my mind ( Surrealist Purse Art )

This is a surrealist inspired painting on a purse.I am a big fan of Frida Kahlo . This is a unique piece to day the least. Noone else will have this bag .I like its character on so many levels .Took it to a local coffee shop to ask folks opinion they loved it .
